Standard or Premium storage options available,
including support for up to 20,000 IOPS. Built-in DR included.
Our SAN-based storage achieves a minimum of 2,500 IOPS and up to 20,000 IOPS available, with less than 5ms latency. Additional security and storage is offered through an integrated VLAN for isolated storage options (vSAN), that support CIFS, iSCSI and NFS protocols.
Adjust storage properties for each VM in real-time and on the fly. Additional administrative capabilities (“snapshot” and “archive”) are available at any time. Two disaster recovery options, “premium” or “standard”, include daily snapshots, as well as rolling back-ups. “Premium” extends the rolling back-up timeline, and backs up data to another data center at least 800 miles away.
With storage options supporting up to 20,000 IOPS, your applications will run at peak speed.

Choose your storage preference when creating a new virtual machine. Premium offers 14 days of rolling disaster recovery, while Standard provides 5 days.
Different virtual machines may require different DR schedules. Configure and schedule the right policies for individual servers or groups of servers.
Create ad-hoc snapshots, templates and archive VMs from within the Tier 3 Control Portal.
Increase disk space or add additional storage disks to existing servers through the Tier 3 Control Portal. For servers that require more storage over time, adding more space is simple.
Tier 3’s approach to storage offers more flexibility in a number of dimensions. Decide what type of storage each scenario requires, and then specify the type of automated DR/BC that’s needed to support the use case. You are not tied into a predefined scheme of “small”, “medium” or “large” instances.
Demanding application components (for example the data store of your database) require high I/O to deliver a compelling user experience. Tier 3’s product catalog includes these high-end options for exactly this reason.
The storage requirements of any virtual machine is never static. As business needs change, the storage attributes of a deployed VM are likely to change as well. Tier 3 empowers you to do this on your own, as required.
